1 Ripe avocado

1 Ripe banana

1 cup (dairy or non-dairy like almond milk, coconut milk, etc.) Milk

1-2 tablespoons (optional, for sweetness) Honey or maple syrup

1/2 cup (optional, for creaminess) Plain yogurt

(optional, for a colder smoothie) Ice cubes

(optional, to prevent browning of avocado) A squeeze of lemon juice
Directions
- Peel the avocado and remove the pit. Cut the avocado into chunks.
- Peel the banana and slice it into chunks as well.
- Place the avocado chunks, banana slices, milk, honey or maple syrup, and yogurt (if using) into a blender.
- Squeeze a little lemon juice over the avocado to prevent browning, if desired.
- Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add more milk to reach your desired consistency.
- Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup.
- If you prefer a colder smoothie, you can add a few ice cubes to the blender and blend again until smooth.
- Once blended to your liking, pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
