1/4 cup Mayonnaise
-
2 tablespoons finely chopped Red Onion
-
2 tablespoons finely chopped Celery
-
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed Lemon juice
-
1 tablespoon chopped fresh Parsley
-
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In a medium bowl, flake the drained tuna using a fork, breaking it into smaller pieces.
- Add the mayonnaise, red onion, celery, lemon juice, parsley, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined and the tuna is evenly coated.
- Taste the tuna salad and adjust the seasoning according to your preference. If desired, add any of the optional add-ins mentioned above to customize the flavor.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Once chilled, give the tuna salad a final stir before serving.
- Serve the classic Tuna Salad on a bed of lettuce, in a sandwich, or as a filling for wraps. It’s also delicious with crackers or as a topping for salads.
Note: This recipe makes approximately 2-3 servings. You can easily double or halve the ingredients based on your desired quantity.
Feel free to experiment with additional ingredients such as diced bell peppers, chopped hard-boiled eggs, or a squeeze of pickle juice to add more flavor and texture to your tuna salad. Enjoy!
