Ingredients
-
1 Baguette
-
100 ml Olive Oil
-
1 clove Garlic
-
150 g Cream cheese
-
1 teaspoon, dried Oregano
-
Salt
-
50 g, grated (or a similar hard cheese) Parmesan
Directions
1. Prepare
Turn on the oven to preheat at 220 degrees Celsius with only the top heater on.
Cut the baguette into slices 1.5 to 2 centimeters thick.
Finely chop the garlic and heat it in olive oil just until it releases its aroma, but make sure it does not brown or develop an unpleasant, burnt smell.
Mix the oil infused with garlic with cream cheese, dried oregano, salt, and grated Parmesan or a similar hard cheese.
2. Bake
Spread the mixture on top of each baguette slice and arrange them side by side on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 3 minutes, making sure they do not burn. Serve hot with cold cuts, pickled vegetables, or fish spreads.
