Ham and Cheese Croissants are flaky pastries filled with savory slices of ham and cheese, baked until golden brown. These delicious treats are perfect for breakfast, a snack, or light lunch, often enjoyed warm with mustard or a fresh salad.

Dough
Combine Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the yogurt, milk, oil, and egg white—mix until the ingredients are well combined.

Knead the Dough
Knead the dough by hand, placing it on a floured surface. Dust the top with flour and roll it into a circle. Preheat the oven to 200°C (about 400 degrees Fahrenheit).

Divide the Dough
Cut the dough into 16 equal pieces.

Filling

Fill the Croissants
On each piece of dough, at the wider end, place a bit of cheese and ham, then roll it up into a croissant shape. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat the process with the remaining dough and ingredients.

Topping
Sprinkle with Seeds
Beat the egg yolk and brush it over the croissants. Sprinkle with your choice of seeds and place them in the preheated oven.

Bake
Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown.
