  1. Prepare the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice. This mixture will be your honey glaze.
  2. Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour half of the honey glaze over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is well coated. Reserve the other half of the glaze for later. Seal the bag or cover the dish and let the salmon marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. You can marinate it for longer if you have more time, but 30 minutes is sufficient.
  3. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). While the oven is preheating, remove the salmon from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Prepare a Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking. This will make cleanup easier.
  5. Bake the Salmon: Place the marinated salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
  6. Glaze the Salmon: About 5 minutes before the salmon is done, brush the reserved honey glaze over the fillets. This will give the salmon a nice, sweet glaze. You can use a basting brush to do this. Continue baking until the glaze is caramelized and the salmon is fully cooked.
  7. Serve: Remove the honey glazed salmon from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.

This honey glazed salmon recipe pairs well with a variety of side dishes, such as steamed vegetables, rice, quinoa, or a fresh salad. Enjoy your delicious homemade salmon dish!
