  1. Start by preparing a breading station with three shallow bowls or dishes. In the first bowl, place the all-purpose flour. In the second bowl, beat the eggs. In the third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix the breadcrumb mixture well to evenly distribute the seasonings.
  2. Take one mozzarella cheese stick and coat it in the flour, shaking off any excess.
  3. Dip the cheese stick into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  4. Roll the cheese stick in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the cheese to adhere well. Make sure it’s evenly coated. You can repeat the process by dipping it back into the egg and rolling in breadcrumbs for an extra crispy coating, if desired.
  5. Place the breaded cheese stick on a tray or baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat this process for all the cheese sticks. It’s important to freeze the sticks for about 20-30 minutes at this point to help them hold their shape during frying.
  6. While the cheese sticks are chilling, heat the cooking oil in a deep fryer or a heavy-bottomed pot to 350-375°F (175-190°C).
  7. Carefully lower the cheese sticks into the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 2-3 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the cheese inside is melting. You may need to adjust the frying time based on your oil temperature and the thickness of the breadcrumb coating.
  8. Use a slotted spoon or tongs to remove the mozzarella sticks from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain the excess oil.
  9. Serve the mozzarella cheese sticks immediately while they’re hot with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.

These mozzarella cheese sticks are a delicious and indulgent treat that’s perfect for parties, game day, or as a savory snack. Enjoy!
