Ingredients
-
230 g, chopped Cooking chocolate
-
30 g, cut into cubes Butter
-
130 ml Heavy cream
-
300 g Nutella
-
140 g, finely chopped Hazelnuts
Directions
1. Combine the ingredients
In a small heatproof bowl (a small bowl for melting chocolate), placed over a pot of boiling water, melt the chocolate, heavy cream, and butter. Stir until all the ingredients are combined and you have a smooth mixture.
2. Cool down
Stir in the Nutella and place the mixture in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours to firm up so that you can scoop it. You can speed up this process by placing the mixture in the freezer for half an hour, then transferring it to the refrigerator for a little longer.
3. Shape
Use a large spoon to scoop out the chocolate mixture and shape it into balls with your hands. If necessary, wipe your hands after shaping every few balls.
4. Roll
Roll the balls in chopped hazelnuts and place them in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve. They can be stored in the refrigerator for a little over a week.
