8 slices Rye bread

1/2 lb thinly sliced Corned beef

1/2 lb, sliced Swiss cheese

1 cup, drained Sauerkraut

1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing

2 tablespoons, softened Unsalted butter
Directions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Spread Thousand Island dressing on one side of each slice of rye bread.
- On four of the slices, layer slices of Swiss cheese, followed by corned beef, and then sauerkraut. Top with another slice of rye bread, dressing side down.
- Butter the outsides of the sandwiches.
- Place the sandwiches on the skillet or griddle and cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove from the skillet, slice diagonally, and serve hot.
