Shrimp rolls

Cook the Shrimp:

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the shrimp until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and squeeze lemon juice over the cooked shrimp. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and toss to coat.

2. Assemble the Rolls:

  1. Slice the sandwich rolls or hot dog buns horizontally, but not all the way through.
  2. Place a leaf of lettuce on the bottom of each roll.
  3. Arrange a few slices of tomato on top of the lettuce.
  4. Place a few shrimp on top of the tomatoes.
  5. Add sliced avocado if desired.
  6. Spread mayonnaise or aioli on the top half of the rolls.
  7. Close the rolls and serve immediately.

3. Serve:

  • Serve the shrimp rolls with your favorite side dishes like coleslaw, potato salad, or chips.
