Directions
- Prepare the Shrimp:
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Warm the Tortillas:
- In the same skillet or on a griddle, warm the tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they are soft and pliable. Keep them warm by wrapping them in a clean kitchen towel.
- Assemble the Tacos:
- Place some shredded cabbage or lettuce onto each tortilla.
- Top with cooked shrimp, avocado slices, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, and fresh cilantro leaves.
- Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos.
- Serve:
- Serve the shrimp tacos immediately with additional lime wedges and your favorite salsa or hot sauce on the side.
