1 loaf, preferably stale or day-old, cut into cubes French bread

6 large Eggs

2 cups Milk

1/2 cup Heavy cream

1/4 cup Granulated sugar

1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon Salt

1 cup, sliced Strawberries

for serving Maple syrup

for dusting (optional) Powdered sugar
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Add the cubed bread to the egg mixture and gently toss until all the bread cubes are coated.
- Let the mixture sit for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the bread to soak up the liquid.
- Gently fold in the sliced strawberries.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar, if desired.
