Preheat the Oven
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) and prepare a 13 x 23 cm (5 x 9 inch) loaf pan. Grease the pan with butter and sprinkle it with 2 to 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs. Finely chop the onion.

Cook the Eggs
In a small pot, add water and a pinch of salt. Gently place the eggs in the pot and wait for the water to boil. Once boiling, cook the eggs for 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer the eggs to cold water, let them cool, and then peel them.

Combine the Ingredients
In a larger bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, chopped onion, milk, and breadcrumbs using your hands. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Shape the Loaf
Transfer part of the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing it down lightly to shape it. Arrange the boiled eggs in the center, then cover them with the remaining meat mixture, ensuring there are no gaps.

Bake
Grease a baking sheet and carefully invert the meatloaf onto it. In a small bowl, mix together mustard, brown sugar, and ketchup, then spread this mixture over the top of the meatloaf. Place it in the oven and bake for 60 minutes.

Serve
Once baked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Transfer it to a cutting board and slice it. Serve with mashed potatoes or a side dish of your choice. Enjoy!
