Ingredients
-
1 Onion
-
500 g Ground Beef
-
2 cloves Garlic
-
1 Red bell pepper
-
1 teaspoon Chili powder
-
1 teaspoon Ground paprika
-
1 teaspoon Ground cumin
-
400 g Crushed tomatoes
-
400 g of cooked Red beans
-
Salt
-
Oil
-
Pepper
Directions
Sauté
Fry finely chopped onion in oil. Add the meat and brown it on all sides. Add finely chopped garlic and sauté, stirring just until fragrant, about half a minute. Add the bell pepper cut into strips.
Add spices
Add spices to the pot with the meat and stir. Pour in the crushed tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Add water to cover the ingredients, then cover the pot.
Cook the chili
Cook for about 45 minutes, adding water as needed. In the last 15 minutes, add the beans and let them “cook in” with the meat and sauce.
You can keep the cooked chili in the refrigerator for a few days; just reheat it before eating.
