Ingredients
-
4 (about 6 ounces each), preferably skin-on Salmon steaks
-
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
-
2 cloves, minced Garlic
-
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
(such as dill, parsley, or thyme), chopped (optional) Fresh herbs
Directions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the steaks are evenly coated. Allow them to marinate for about 10 minutes at room temperature.
- Once the grill is hot, lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking. Place the salmon steaks on the grill, skin-side down if they have skin.
- Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and easily flake with a fork. Be careful not to overcook them.
- Once done, remove the salmon from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Optionally, garnish with freshly chopped herbs before serving.
