Ingredients
-
4 (about 6 ounces each) Halibut fillets
-
2 cups Tomato sauce

2 cloves, minced Garlic
-
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
-
1 teaspoon Dried Oregano

-
(optional) Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the halibut fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the tomato sauce and add dried oregano and basil. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Place the seasoned halibut fillets in a baking dish and pour the tomato sauce over them, making sure they are evenly coated.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Once cooked, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
