1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
1 teaspoon Dried Basil
Salt and pepper to taste
(optional) Fresh parsley for garnish

Baked halibut fish with tomato sauce

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the halibut fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the tomato sauce and add dried oregano and basil. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Place the seasoned halibut fillets in a baking dish and pour the tomato sauce over them, making sure they are evenly coated.
  6. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Once cooked, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
